Mary Patterson
Mary’s passion for hairdressing and insatiable desire for both learning and teaching have contributed to her success over the past 18 years. From an early age Mary was inspired by beauty and fashion so pursuing a career in hairdressing was a natural path. She began her career in Cincinnati, Ohio, moving to Fort Collins 14 years ago. Mary began her career in Colorado at an Aveda Salon where she found herself fully enlisted in the philosophy of integrating mind, body and soul with modern beauty. Her never ending desire to learn and share her knowledge led Mary to becoming an Aveda Purefessional, educating likeminded hairdressers in cutting and color. Her belief in the importance of continuing education has led her to classes in Minneapolis, L.A., Chicago, New York, Denver and London. Mary’s blelief that the worlds of beauty, fashion and wellness can merge, brought her to the decision to open Maya Bleu Salon.Spa in 2002. |

Sheila Griggs Kaan
Sheila has been in the salon business for 25 years. She is an expert in hair coloring which lead her to become a regional educator for Aveda, sharing her knowledge of hair coloring and haircutting. She has trained with hairdressers from Paris, London, New York, and San Francisco. Her entrepenure spirit led Sheila to open her own business in 1991, having prospered in that avenue for 10 years she decided to sell her business and simplify, which led her to Maya Bleu Salon.Spa. She prides herself on giving great consultations to help the guest get the best of what she has to offer. Sheila looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your fresh new look. |

Amy Kness
Amy is Maya Bleu’s newest talent She received her education at the Aveda Institute Denver, graduating in the summer of 2006. Amy enjoys making people feel good about themselves from the inside out. She loves incorporating all aspects of beauty from hair cutting and coloring to facials, waxing and make up. Amy is excited about her career in the beauty industry and looks forward to continuing her education and building her clientele at Maya Bleu Salon.Spa. |

Ann Wojtowick
Ann has 4 years of nail experience, specializing in natural nail care. She is also a certified airbrush tanning specialist. As a one time business owner(Starry Night Café) she now relishes the simplicity of working at Maya Bleu Salon.Spa and enjoys the friendship of staff and guest alike in this unique and special salon.spa. Services offered include manicures, pedicures and airbrush tanning. Seasonal specials and packages are available. |

Erin Langteau
Erin graduated from Antoine De Chey in January of 2006. After school she continued her education while assisting with a few top stylist in the Denver area. Erin had the opportunity to assist Herve Claude Bernard in a photo shoot for Vanity Fair magazine in New York city last summer. She enjoys helping clients find the latest styles, and has a passion for hair color. Erin has been with Maya Bleu Salon.Spa for almost 2 years. |

Charleena Huber
Charleena Huber started her career in massage therapy in 2002 at the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins. She specializes in many therapeutic modalities, including Swedish massage, neuromuscular, prenatal, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and hot stone. Charleena has had the opportunity to train and work with homeopathic doctors and chiropractors, as well as working in Day Spas and Wellness Centers. In 2005 Charleena expanded her career to include skin care; European facials, body waxing, make up and body treatments. Having a wide variety of work experiences, and a passion for healing, allows Charleena to create a peaceful and therapeutic environment with custom treatments to suit your needs. |

Dominic Valdez
Dominic has been a hair stylist for 21 years, he enjoys cutting and coloring hair of all lengths and textures. His passion is to find a unique style for each individual client. Dominic has furthered his education over the years at Vidal Sasson Academy in London, Tony and Guy Academy in London, The ABBA Institute in California and Jacque Dessange Schoool of Color in New York, just to name a few. He looks forward to working with you. |
